Mobile Phone
Make sure that your website is mobile friendly. Items like your hours of operation, store locations, and directions should all be easily viewed from a mobile phone. If you sell items on your site, make sure that mobile customers can easily search for products to compare pricing. Consider including a link for directions as well.
If you have a product to sell, and you are considering mobile commerce, think carefully. Mobile commerce requires a level of security and credit card processing feature to be in place. Implementing this can be costly to your business. Quite often, it might be easier for the customer to call you on their mobile phone to purchase, instead of clicking on a link to purchase.
Offer customers a reason to give you their mobile phone numbers. Have a sign at the register offering an instant one time discount. Give mobile customers first notifications of sales and new items coming in. Customers do not want to be texted without their being a good reason for it.
A great mobile phone an marketing tip is to ask your customers to share their videos. Customers use their mobile phones to capture real events that happen in everyday life. This is a great opportunity for you to build a community and to help engage customers by having them participate in your marketing efforts by submitting their own videos.
Use your traditional site to drive a lot of traffic to your mobile platform. Urge people that visit your regular website or blog to visit you on their mobile phones when they are out and about. This will give you yet another way to stay close to your customers and potential customers.
Make sure your ad is compatible with every type of handset. To ensure you don’t lose your professional reputation, you must make sure that users of all types of mobile phone can interact with your ad campaign. If you distribute a mobile ad that does not display on certain platforms, brings up error messages or even worse crashes the user’s cell phone, you are unlikely to attract any potential buyers to your company.

Global emergency numbers 112
People might be worried when they take a trip, especially when travel abroad. You usually do not know any people in the destination; you do not know the street, and facilities. Most of all, you may not speak the local language well. What if you run into any danger, who can you turn to for help?
Luckily, we can make an emergency call. We have a cell phone, that’s not a problem. The only question is what the number is? In fact, every country has an emergency number and it differs from country to country. For example, people in the US and Canada call 911 if they are in any danger. But the number in Japan, China and India is 110. So how do you know the number in any country?
Well you do not have to memorize the number when you travel. You may not know that there is a worldwide emergency number. And the number is 112. As a matter of fact, lots of people do not know it.
112 is a special number. Generally you could not dial any number from your keyboard when your screen is locked, but if you try this number, the magic will play. Well that’s not all. You can dial this number even if you do not have a SIM card. Your phone will automatically search any network.
If you have a keyboard phone, try this trick. Even if you have a touchscreen phone, you can dial any emergency number with the screen locked.
So you do not have to worry next time when you travel. If your friends are going abroad, forward this to him / her, they must be happy!!

Nokia security master code calculator available
As we all know, almost all Nokia feature phones come with lock codes, which are used to protect your phone and private data. As a matter of fact, Smartphones have this code as well, but it sometimes
Well this code is different from your PIN or PUN codes, which come with your SIM card. You can always ask your mobile operator for more information. As a matter of fact, I can change my PIN code by calling my carrier or from their website.
If you have enabled this lock code, you need to enter it every time you change a SIM card or perform a factory reset. The good thing is that others won’t be able to use it if your phone goes missing. But if you forget this code, you may find yourself in a difficult situation. You will be prompted for this security code even if you type *#7370#.
While the default security code is 12345 for most Nokia phones (it differs from models to models), many people change it. It’s quite easy to understand this; anyone could search the default code if you do not change it. But what if you forget it? I can see a lot of people asking this question on forums.
Well this is not an irresolvable issue. As a matter of fact, there is Nokia security master code calculator out there. For instance, this website has a perfect calculator for Nokia phones. It’s not difficult to use, simply enter your IMEI number and hit generate. You can enter *#06# for your IMEI number. Now try this code on your phone and hopefully it may work.
It worth mentioning however, that this calculator is not for all Nokia feature phones. Before your trying it, check out this compatibility list first.
Fortunately, Nokia feature phones are to be replaced by modern smartphones.

Because of that, Nokia phone service codes vary depending on your model. Below are the common codes which should apply to almost all models.
*#06# – Shows your IMEI number. As a matter of fact this code is universally used and applies to almost all other phones.
*#92702689# (*#WAR0ANTY#) – Shows warranty information. Note you need to turn off your phone and back on to exit it.

Secret service codes for Sony Ericsson phone
Sony Ericsson, as a mobile phone brand, disappeared a while ago. But its phones are still seen everywhere, both feature phone and Smartphone. I myself have a Sony Ericsson Xperia phone, the screen and camera are really better than many others, although the hardware sucks (Sony’s really cheap).
These codes however, do not apply to Sony Ericsson Smartphones (most of which run Android) for reasons everyone knows. If you have a SE feature phone, then try them, you may have a surprise.
1 *#06#, (, not included, same below) shows your phone’s IMEI number (International Mobile Equipment Identity). Seems every phone has this code and everyone knows it.
2 >*<<*<*, shows some secret menu about SE phone, such as firmware version, service information and status etc.
3 0#, shows the last called number.
4 < 0 0 0 0>, restore the default theme and language.
5 < * * <, shows network information and SIM lock as well.
6 **04*0000*0000*0000# followed by on ‘Wrong Pin’ number, start a SE phone without SIM card inserted.
7 any number and then #, shortcut to contacts stored on phone book.
8 904059 + > (to exit 3 + <), shows phone test screen.
9 <- * * <-, lock status.

Three tips on removing scratches from mobile screen
It seems now people can’t live without cell phone, especially Smartphone. We use it to browse the internet, send and receive Emails, stream videos, and play games or listen to music. Some people even take their handset wherever they go.
However when you buy a new cell phone, you surely do not want to see scratches on the screen in the near future. But many people do not take good care of their handset, they put their cell phone in the pocket together with wallets, cards and even keys or coins, the latter could easily damage your phone’s screen. This will cause minor and even deep scratches to the cell phone screen, eventually, they need to replace the display or the mobile device.
Here we’ll tell you how to protect your cell phone screen from scratches.
First off, buy handset comes with Gorilla glass made by U.S. glassmaker Corning. Gorilla features thin, light and damage resistance, and now many phone has Gorilla glass. With this terrific screen, you won’t have to worry about any scratches.
Secondly, even if your phone does not have a Gorilla screen, there’s other solution you can turn to, buy and use a phone screen protector. When you buy a new handset, you may consider buying a mobile screen protector at the same time. It won’t cost you much, but it does a really good job. When it comes to the price, it ranges between some $1 and $3, and some only cost you less than $1. You do not have to worry about how to remove the scratches later if you use a screen protector.
Lastly, if unfortunately your cell phone screen already has scratches, you can try the below method to remove them.
A. Use toothpaste to remove the small scratches and it’s almost free.
1.) Apply a blob of toothpaste on the screen with a tissue; rub it into the areas on the phone where the scratches are.
2.) Wait a few minutes, then put small amount of water on end of a tissue and wipe off toothpaste.
3.) Look to see if it worked
4.) If it does not work, repeat the above steps.
B. Try mobile phone screen polisher called “Displex”. This will cost your a few bucks, Amazon sell them at about $7.
Apply some Displex to the display. Polish the scratched areas with heavy pressure for 2-3 minutes with a soft, clean cotton cloth. Repeat application as necessary for deep scratches. The display will shine again. Contents of tube of 5g are sufficient for approx. 8-10 applications.
C. Replace the screen. Remember this may cost you an arm and a leg. In rare cases, the cost of a screen is nearly a third of your handset.
D. Buy a new one. When you decide to purchase a new device, consider my first advice, lol. More mobile phone tricks here.

A few tips on saving your battery life
Android phone hardware are getting more and more powerful. Now we get over 2G frequency cpu, over 400M frequency GPU. Here comes the most important, larger screen. For example, Samsung Galaxy SIII has a huge 4.8′ screen, not to mention note II’s incredible 5.5 display. However we have to charge our battery once everyday with the development of the hardware until we see some breakthrough in battery technology.
It’s more important to learn how to save battery life before we could see any significant increase in mobile battery capacity. Here are a few tips on saving your battery life,
1. Reduce display brightness. Turn down the brightness is up till now the most effective way to save your battery life. If you go see your battery usage, screen always eats the most battery, this is very true if you have a large screen. If you reduce the display brightness by 30% or 50%, the battery life will be drastically prolonged. For instance, my phone has a 4.7′ display, and I set the brightness from 40% to 20% and I can use my phone for another day (from 24 hours to 48 hours or more).
2. Turn off auto sync. Auto sync is the essential feature of modern Smartphone, and it drains your battery quickly too. If you have to sync your phone book, or picture or anything else, do it yourself. Do not let auto sync stays on. Besides, it helps save your data.
3. Turn off Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS until you need to use them. We generally do not use Bluetooth or GPS, so it’s strongly recommended to disable them.
4. Turn off your cell phone during the night while you sleep. It will reserve some battery power for you, but if you have emergency calls at night, this might not be applicable.
5. Disable vibration, keypad sound and backlight. While some prefer vibration and need backlight to read, but these features requires much battery power to work, if your disable them, your battery will surely last longer.
6. Reduce the apps running in the background (you need to root your phone to do this). Unnecessary features like camera and mobile internet are those features will tremendously consume your battery power. If you have a task killer installed, you will be able to see how many apps are running in the background for no purpose. So I would like advice you delete those unnecessary auto-start entries, remove those unnecessary apps or system services. Always remember to backup first.
7. Use WiFi instead of 3G to access the internet. 3G consumes more power than WiFi. So if you have access to WiFi network, just disable 3G.
8. Set your network mode correctly. If you have a 3G cell phone, you have three options: Dual mode, UMTS and GSM (depending on the cell phone you have), if you are using 3G or 2G, select the mode accordingly, never select dual mode. Because every time you turn of your cell phone or lost signal, it has to search for the network and this process consumes battery power a lot.
9. Please send your suggestions and I will list them here. The list goes on…

How To Recover A Wet Smartphone
Smart phones, like the iPhone, Blackberry, and Android are becoming increasingly popular in today’s digital world. Modern phones can send emails, play music and render games in addition to making calls. The convenience of these phones means that people can take them almost anywhere. Unfortunately, this also means that these delicate devices end up getting rained on, dropped in bathtubs and drenched by spilled drinks. These electronic devices come with an internal sticker that will change color if it is exposed to water. In many cases, water damage will void the warranty of a smart phone. Fortunately, professional repair services can fix damaged phones without a warranty. In some cases, the fix is as simple as a new battery or a bit of rewiring
How To Replace The Battery On A Droid Smartphone
Changing the battery on a Droid phone isn't the same as changing the batteries in your television remote. A few simple, but careful, steps need to take place to successfully change the battery. Firstly, make sure your phone is completely shut down. Removing the battery from a turned-on Droid may cause problems with your phone's memory. The next step is to remove the Droid's battery door, normally located on the back of the device. Then, carefully pull out the original battery. If there is a tab, slowly pull up on it and remove the battery. Finally, take the new battery and lock it into place. Make sure that any tab is not tucked underneath the battery. It should be sticking out for easy battery removal. If you feel uncomfortable replacing the battery yourself, take your Droid phone to a Verizon store for assistance.
How To Reset An iPhone To Its Original Settings
If you need to restore your iPhone to its original settings, the best and easiest way to do this is to plug it into a computer with iTunes and use iTunes to format or restore your iPhone. You can download the drivers needed online via iTunes to perform the necessary formatting and customization. If that is not working, or if you do not know how to use iTunes well, you may need to bring your iPhone in to a shop with an Apple technician, preferably Apple certified, or a smartphone repair technician that has the knowledge and equipment to perform this service
Is A Cracked iPhone Screen Covered Under The Warranty?
Your iPhone screen is cracked. Is this covered under the warranty? In a word, no. There is virtually no way for an iPhone screen to become cracked or broken without being dropped, and damage due to drops is not covered under the warranty. However, a cracked iPhone screen doesn't mean that your phone is now garbage. The screen can be replaced by a trained technician, and a local company will probably charge you less than the Apple Store. Taking your damaged iPhone to a local professional cell phone repair company also saves you driving long distances to the nearest Apple Store or mailing your phone in to Apple. Call a professional cell phone repair company for advice and a quote if your iPhone screen is cracked.

How to Remove Cell Phone Screen Scratches
A scratched cellphone can be a headache for many people. Many phone screens can be scratched by keys, spare coins, or a drop. Nail polish can be a great way to fix a scratched cell phone screen. First, clean the cell phone screen using rubbing alcohol. Have a polishing cloth on hand. Apply an even coat of clear nail polish across the surface of the phone. Quickly buff the screen to a shine using the polishing cloth. This should leave all the cracks filled with nail polish, creating a cell phone screen with a like-new appearance. For larger scratches, please contact a professional cell phone repair agent.
Backing Up Smartphone Contacts
Many people rely on their smartphone for address contacts. If this information is only stored on the phone and is not backed up, there can be major problems if the phone is lost, stolen or damaged. Important contacts should not be lost and it is usually quite difficult to recreate lost contacts. Generally, the best method is to work with an online service that saves and syncs a copy of the contacts. A professional company will be able to get this set up correctly. With the right right product and company, a person does not have to ever worry about losing valuable contacts on the smartphone.
How to Take Out an iPhone Battery
Apple manufactures the iPhone in a sealed environment. The iPhone is actually a mini computer. When you attempt to remove the battery yourself, you can very easily do serious damage to your phone. If it’s still under warranty, you should take your iPhone to a professional and have them swap out the battery. Opening the back case yourself will void the warranty. To do the job yourself, obtain an iPhone case opening tool. Remove the back cover, unhook the wires and remove the motherboard. The battery is under the motherboard. Reverse the steps to put the iPhone back together again.
How to Make Your iPhone Battery Last Longer
If you are like many people, your iPhone is invaluable to you, and you probably use it for much more than talking with people and listening to music. Since constant use can easily drain your phone’s battery, you need to take steps to make the battery last as long as possible. One of the easiest ways to extend the battery is to turn your phone off at night. If you charge your iPhone before going to bed,
turning the power off while you sleep will help the phone last longer on the following day. You may want to change your settings to limit the brightness on the display to the lowest level that you are comfortable with. You should also get into the habit of turning off the display as soon as you are done using the phone. Another thing that drains the battery is having your phone set to check email automatically. Adjusting your settings so that you have to manually check your mail should be fine. You can also turn off automatic notifications from your apps. If you have any trouble adjusting your settings, or your phone is not charging correctly, you should seek assistance from an Apple representative.

How to Calibrate a Touchscreen
A misaligned cell phone touchscreen can be a headache for many people. While most modern smart phones will calibrate a touchscreen automatically, some environmental conditions and software glitches can change the alignment of a touchscreen. The following guide provides simple tips and tricks for calibrating a touchscreen.
The Android and iOS operating systems come with a system setup tool for calibration. During the boot sequence, a phone will make sure that all the touch sensors on a screen are functioning correctly. If they aren't, the phone may disable some of the sensors. Since most smart phones contain hundreds of individual touch sensors, a few damaged sensors won't prevent normal operation of the phone.
If normal automatic calibration does not work correctly, there may be hardware damage. While most smart phone screens are rugged, a cracked screen may not function correctly. In addition, dust can embed itself under the surface of a touchscreen. This will reduce the screen's ability to sense a finger or stylus. Water damage can also have an impact on the proper operation of a touchscreen.
A damaged touchscreen can be challenging to repair without professional assistance. Contact a cell phone repair shop for a repair estimate and more information

After the installation, the device will be completely updated and ready to use. Without a doubt, the importance of regular iPhone updates cannot be ignored. Too many people fail to realize the need for constant updates. These files improve the operation of the device in many ways.

How to Dry Out a Wet Cell Phone
At some point in time, most people have accidentally allowed water to come in contact with their cell phone. While it may appear that your phone is damaged and lost forever, it is possible to save a wet cell phone by drying it out. The first key to drying out your cell phone is to act quickly. The longer the cell phone is wet, the more likely your phone will be permanently damaged.
Start by removing the battery from your phone. Do not attempt to power on your phone after it has come in contact with water. If you have a SIM card in your phone, remove it as well. The most effective way to dry out your phone is to leave it inside a bowl of uncooked rice overnight. The rice will absorb the moisture without causing further damage to your phone. Do not attempt to dry the phone using a heat source. Heat may damage susceptible components in your phone. After the phone has been left overnight in the rice, remove any leftover moisture by blowing compressed air into the phone.
If you need further assistance or have questions related to drying out a wet cell phone, contact the Gulfport Cell Phone Repair company.

What Do I Do If My Phone Screen Cracks?
Most newer smartphones have fairly delicate screens, and even a short drop can cause cracks. If your smartphone screen cracks, you can get it repaired by a qualified shop, but in the meantime, you can often continue to use the phone to receive calls with a few simple supplies.
You can protect your face from potentially dangerous glass from your phone screen by placing some clear tape over the broken glass until you have a chance to get it professionally fixed. If your phone's screen is crushed to the point where you need to remove some of the screen to answer calls safely, you can lift the tape away to remove broken bits of screen, then place another piece of tape or a screen protector over the face of the device.
Take care when using your phone and try to get it fixed as quickly as possible. Look for a repair shop that specializes in smart phone screen repair and feel free to ask about their qualifications. Most companies won't charge too much for a screen repair, and you'll quickly have your phone back up and running. For fast repair services or for more information, contact the Gulfport Cell Phone Repair company.
