Apple manufactures the iPhone in a sealed environment. The iPhone is actually a mini computer. When you attempt to remove the battery yourself, you can very easily do serious damage to your phone. If it’s still under warranty, you should take your iPhone to a professional and have them swap out the battery. Opening the back case yourself will void the warranty. To do the job yourself, obtain an iPhone case opening tool. Remove the back cover, unhook the wires and remove the motherboard. The battery is under the motherboard. Reverse the steps to put the iPhone back together again.
