iPhone 5 gets released in 22 more countries, and through US regional carriers too



And so the iPhone 5 continues its conquest of the world as Apple’s latest smartphone becomes available in 22 more countries while at the same time getting released by some US regional carriers. The iPhone 5 goes on sale today in Apple Stores and retailers from Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.

In addition to this, some U.S. regional carriers will also be releasing the iPhone 5 and some of them are even offering some nice discounts and other deals. These regional carriers include Cellcom, nTelos, Appalachian Wireless, C Spire, GCI and Cricket Communications. Cellcom, nTelos and Appalachian are offering the iPhone 5 with $50 of the normal retail price.

Those who still want to get the iPhone 5 on contract will have to sign an agreement and pay $149 for the 16GB iPhone 5, $249 for the 32GB model and $349 for the 64GB model. Cricket will also be offering the iPhone 5 off-contract for only $499.99.

For those in the U.S. and not in the 22 countries which will be releasing the iPhone 5 today – well let’s all hope that stocks stabilizes sooner.
